Ethylene Glycol Di Acetate (EGDA) is clear colorless liquid which finds application for preparation of perfumes, coatings, lacquers, & resins. It has mild odor with slow evaporating property and also has a role to play for graphic arts. This compound has chemical formula C6H10O4 with molecular weight of 146.16 g/mol and boiling point of 369 degrees Fahrenheit. Ethylene Glycol Di Acetate (EGDA) also has a role to play in preparation of water-based adhesives and in foundry. It shows excellent blush resistance and is biodegradable in nature with low MIR value.
